As you join Kenyatta University community we wish to share a few thoughts that will contribute to smooth transition to university life.
- To begin with, please take care of yourselves by making decisions and choices that safeguard your life and health.
- If you have a challenge requiring psychological counseling, please report to our directorate which is situated at Business Services and Students Centre (BSSC) Room 143 where you will be allocated a counselor
- The University has four Chaplaincies, please align yourself to your faith: Catholic, Protestant, SDA and Islam
- Kenyatta University has various clubs, please search for the available clubs and join one or two
- If you or your friend has a challenge quitting a drug habit, please come to the directorate for support
- Those of you who are clean from drugs please retain that status
- You also need to know that HIV infections are real and young people in the age bracket 14-25 are at high risk. Please abstain from all behavior likely to lead to HIV infections
- Just in case you or a friend is HIV positive, please visit our clinic based at Ghana 4 for management
- Students who would like to know their HIV status are advised to visit the Ghana 4 clinic which operates Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 4:00pm
